The more days pass by, I’m ashamed to say the more I start to forget your face. But I will never forget your presence. I know the brave face you had to wear. I know the sturdy exterior you had to present to the world, to us. It was to protect us, but mostly it was to protect yourself. Deep down, there was a well of sorrow. The fragile and vulnerable heart of a child whose external body grew into a man. I thought that if we showed you enough love, maybe we could help heal you of things done in the past.
