As I emerged from the veil, I began to negotiate who and what I could be. They think we are less than human, but we are much more to me. I was always scared to show what was behind the armor. Performing for the world was all I knew. But the mask had become too heavy for me. So I lay myself bare for you to see. Imperfect, forever changing. A celebration of transformation, stepping into a new reality. The power was never outside of me.
